How to measure your bra size
Before you begin, make sure you have:
- A flexible measuring tape
- A mirror
Wear a well-fitting, non-padded/lightly padded bra.
Start by measuring your Band Size
Round the measurement to the nearest whole number in inches. If it's an even number, add 4". If it's an odd number, add 5". This is your band size.
For example, if your under bust measures 26.5", round to the nearest whole number, 27". then 27" + 5" = 32", 32 is your band size.
Next, measure Your Bust Size
Round the measurement to the nearest whole number in inches.
Calculate Your Cup Size
Subtract your band size from your bust size and use the difference to find your cup size:
- 0-inch difference: AA
- 1-inch difference: A
- 2-inch difference: B
- 3-inch difference: C
- 4-inch difference: D
For example, if your bust measures 29" and your under bust measures 27", then 29" - 27" = 2", cup B is your cup size.
Lastly, combine Band and Cup Sizes
Your final bra size is the combination of your band size and cup size. For example, if your band size is 32" and your cup size is B, your bra size is 32B.
